Manage the operations of a bulk plant in a specific market. Duties include focusing on core values of Safety, Integrity, and Customer Service. Ensure employees follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations pertaining to the storage, delivery, and usage of all products and supplies. Operate within the guidelines of the Budget and provide other services as requested by management. This Position will report to the VP of Operations
Provides feedback to senior management regarding performance
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
Provides timely and accurate informative competitor information
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
Recruits, hires and trains employees based on criteria agreed upon by senior management
Plant staff reports directly to Plant Manager
Develop and manage necessary staff at plant.
Resolves customer problems by clarifying customer complaints; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
Duties will include, managing tasks, staff meetings, development programs and management reports
Coordinates with administration the compliance of office staff with established company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures
Maintain adequate systems (PDI, etc.) knowledge and provide support for plant related to all systems.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
Coordinate with corporate the compliance of office staff and field staff with established company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures
Responsible for inventory management
Must meet budget revenue guidelines and control expenses to meet budget requirements
Evaluate Daily, Weekly, and Monthly plant reporting as required by senior management
Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly functions to be performed at each plant are performed as required
Provide feedback to senior management regarding performance of plant
Assist staff in collection efforts and must closely monitor top accounts
Responsible for the coordination of fleet maintenance, safety records, DOT files/records
Schedule and dispatch all drivers and service technicians
Manage all plant office employees
Coordinate and implement all safety initiatives as directed.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree or equivalent experience
Proven leadership and ability to drive area sales
Must be able to coach and motivate a team
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Must have fundamental computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
Good listening skills
OTHER IMPORTANT DUTIES:
Performs such other duties as may be required
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
Must complete certification of LP gas license in state which located; must pass the pre-employment drug screening; and must possess a CDL Class A or B or be able to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.
